Terms of Use
Effective date: August 12, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Kvick, including the Kvick website, web application, screenshot-generation tools, and related services.
Kvick is operated by Kodeo Labs Ab (“Kvick”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using Kvick, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Kvick
Kvick helps you create marketing screenshots for mobile applications.
Depending on the features you use, Kvick may:
- analyze information about your app
- generate screenshot headlines and supporting copy
- create localized screenshot copy
- create screenshot layouts
- apply device framing and visual styling
- allow you to upload and position app screens
- generate files for supported Apple App Store and Google Play formats
- generate phone and tablet screenshot sets
Some features use artificial intelligence.
Kvick is intentionally designed as an automated and opinionated service. It does not provide unrestricted control over every aspect of the generated design.
2. Accountless project access
Kvick Launch does not require a user account, password, or sign-in.
When you create a project, Kvick generates a private project link containing a high-entropy access token.
The private project link acts as the access credential for the project.
Anyone who obtains a valid private project link may be able to access the associated project, including viewing or modifying it while editing remains available.
You are responsible for keeping your private project link confidential and for only sharing it with people you trust.
Kvick projects are not intended to be used for highly sensitive or confidential information.
If you purchase a project, we may send the private project link to the email address associated with the transaction so that you can return to it later.
We may require reasonable verification before helping recover access to a purchased project.
3. Free projects
You may create and edit a Kvick project before purchasing it.
Free projects may include limited access to features intended to let you evaluate Kvick before purchase.
For example, Kvick may allow you to:
- generate the initial screenshot project
- edit screenshot copy and project settings
- upload app screens
- view the design in the editor
- generate one additional supported language
Free projects do not include access to full-resolution, store-ready export files.
We may limit free usage where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, excessive automated use, or unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Inactive or unpurchased projects may be deleted after 30 days.
4. Purchases
Kvick Launch is sold as a one-time purchase per project.
The current price, currency, taxes, and contents of the purchase are shown before you complete checkout.
A purchased project may include:
- five screenshot designs
- supported phone exports
- supported tablet exports
- Apple App Store export formats
- Google Play export formats
- all languages supported by Kvick for that project
- full-resolution store-ready downloads
- continued editing for the applicable editing period
- continued download access for the applicable download period
These features are included as part of the purchased project and are not separate paid add-ons unless explicitly stated otherwise before purchase.
A purchase applies to one Kvick project. It does not grant a subscription, an unlimited number of projects, or a reusable entitlement for additional projects.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Kvick Launch purchases are not subscriptions.
5. Payments and merchant of record
Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments.
The merchant-of-record entity identified during checkout may be responsible for transaction-related matters such as:
- payment processing
- billing
- applicable indirect taxes
- receipts or invoices
- refunds
- disputes and chargebacks
- transaction-related customer support
The applicable merchant of record and transaction terms are shown as part of the checkout process.
Kvick does not store your complete credit or debit card details.
We may receive transaction information necessary to associate the purchase with your project and provide the purchased service.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and any terms presented during checkout.
Kvick provides digital services and downloadable digital output that may begin to be supplied immediately after purchase.
Where applicable law allows it, you may be asked during checkout to expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge how beginning performance affects any statutory right of withdrawal.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Where a refund is granted or a transaction is reversed, access to paid features or purchased exports associated with that transaction may be suspended or revoked where permitted by law.
7. Editor and paid exports
Kvick allows you to view and edit your screenshot design before purchase.
The editor provides a visual representation of the project using project data, uploaded assets, and Kvick’s templates.
Full-resolution, store-ready export files are generated separately and are only made available after purchase.
You may not attempt to:
- bypass payment restrictions
- obtain paid export files without authorization
- circumvent technical restrictions intended to separate free use from paid exports
- interfere with Kvick’s export or access-control systems
8. Purchased project lifecycle
The editing and download periods for a purchased project begin when payment is successfully completed.
Unless otherwise stated before purchase:
- a purchased project remains editable for 30 days after successful payment
- after the editing period ends, the project becomes read-only
- download access remains available for 12 months after successful payment
During the editing period, you may continue modifying the purchased project using the features provided by Kvick.
After the editing period ends, you may continue accessing available store-ready exports during the remaining download period, but you may no longer modify the project.
You should keep your own copies of exported files.
Kvick is not intended to serve as permanent file storage or a permanent backup service.
After the applicable retention period expires, project data, uploaded assets, and export files may be permanently deleted.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of the materials you provide to Kvick, including:
- app screenshots
- app descriptions
- logos
- brand assets
- text
- URLs
- other uploaded content
You grant Kvick a limited license to process, store, reproduce, modify, and render this content only as reasonably necessary to operate Kvick and provide the services you request.
This license ends when the content is deleted, except where limited information must be retained for backups, security, payment administration, dispute handling, legal compliance, or other legitimate technical or legal purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use any content you provide to Kvick.
Do not upload content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
You may use Kvick for applications that you own or that you are authorized to represent, including applications belonging to your clients.
10. Generated content
Kvick may generate headlines, supporting copy, localized copy, layouts, and other content using automated systems or artificial intelligence.
You may use output generated for your project for commercial purposes, including marketing an application that you own or are authorized to represent, subject to these Terms.
Generated content may not be unique. Other users may receive similar or identical wording, ideas, layouts, or other output.
You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing or relying on it.
Kvick does not guarantee that generated content is:
- factually correct
- legally compliant in every jurisdiction
- free from third-party rights
- suitable for your particular app
- accepted by Apple, Google, or another platform
- effective at increasing downloads, conversion rates, or revenue
You should verify important claims before publishing them.
11. App Store and Google Play requirements
Kvick generates files intended to help meet supported Apple App Store and Google Play screenshot requirements.
Apple, Google, and other platforms may change their technical, content, or review requirements.
“Store-ready” means that Kvick prepares files for the relevant store formats supported by the service at the time the files are generated.
It does not mean that Apple, Google, or another platform guarantees approval of your listing or screenshots.
You remain responsible for complying with the rules of any store where you publish your materials.
Kvick is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
12. Websites and store pages you provide
Kvick may allow you to provide a website URL, App Store page, Google Play page, or similar source for analysis.
You must only ask Kvick to process information that you are legally permitted to use.
Kvick may retrieve publicly available information from these sources in order to provide the service.
You must not use Kvick to circumvent access controls, authentication systems, paywalls, or other technical restrictions.
13. Localization
Kvick may generate screenshot copy tailored to supported languages and locales.
Localized copy is generated automatically and may be adapted rather than translated literally from another language.
Automated localization can contain errors, unnatural wording, or wording that is inappropriate for a particular market.
You are responsible for reviewing localized content before publishing it.
Kvick does not guarantee that localized content is:
- professionally translated or certified
- legally sufficient in a particular jurisdiction
- culturally appropriate for every audience
- equivalent to review by a professional translator or localization specialist
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, localization applies to generated screenshot copy and does not translate text contained inside screenshots or other images that you upload.
14. Acceptable use
You may not use Kvick to:
- violate applicable law
- infringe intellectual property rights
- impersonate another person or business
- distribute malware or harmful code
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- interfere with the operation of Kvick
- scrape or extract Kvick’s service at unreasonable scale
- circumvent usage, payment, access, or security controls
- generate deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful marketing materials
- automate free project creation or generation in a manner intended to bypass reasonable usage restrictions
- use Kvick in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect Kvick, our users, our service providers, or third parties.
15. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Kvick available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may:
- modify features
- change supported languages, devices, or export formats
- add or remove integrations
- update pricing for future purchases
- temporarily suspend parts of the service
- discontinue features or the service
Changes to pricing do not retroactively change purchases you have already completed.
Where reasonably possible, we will avoid changes that unnecessarily prevent customers from accessing recently purchased exports during their stated access period.
16. Project storage and re-downloads
Purchased projects remain accessible through their private project links during the applicable retention periods described in these Terms.
You are responsible for retaining the private project link and your own copies of important exported files.
Kvick does not guarantee permanent storage beyond the stated project and download periods.
We may delete expired projects and associated uploaded assets, project data, and export files after the applicable retention period ends.
Temporary files created while rendering exports may be deleted as soon as they are no longer required.
17. Intellectual property
Kvick, including its software, branding, interface, design system, templates, website, and underlying technology, is owned by Kodeo Labs Ab or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Kvick to you.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Kvick service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
You may not offer Kvick itself as your own service or provide unauthorized automated access to Kvick.
The rights you retain in your own uploaded content are not affected by this section.
18. Third-party services
Kvick relies on third-party services to operate.
These may include providers for:
- hosting and infrastructure
- artificial intelligence
- payment processing
- email delivery
- cloud storage
- security and abuse prevention
Use of some features may therefore involve processing or infrastructure provided by third parties.
Their availability, policies, and services are outside our direct control.
See our Privacy Policy for more information about how these providers may process information.
19. Disclaimer of warranties
Kvick is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that:
- Kvick will always be available
- every generated result will be error-free
- generated or localized copy will be accurate
- exports will always satisfy future store requirements
- every combination of app content, language, or uploaded screenshot will produce an ideal result
- use of Kvick will increase downloads, sales, rankings, or conversion rates
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kodeo Labs Ab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of Kvick, including loss of revenue, profits, data, business opportunities, or reputation.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability relating to a particular paid Kvick project will not exceed the amount paid for that project, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from content you provide to Kvick or from your unlawful use of the service, including claims that your content infringes another person’s rights.
This section does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.
22. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Kvick at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to a project or the service if you materially violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to circumvent payment or security controls, or create a material risk to Kvick, our users, our service providers, or third parties.
Where appropriate and reasonably practical, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before terminating paid access.
23. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal information.
By using Kvick, you acknowledge that information will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of the country where you live.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Finland, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Kvick evolves.
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated effective date.
Material changes will apply prospectively, and we will provide additional notice where required by law.
